Job Description
As a key member of our global, remote-first finance team you will manage the contracts and procurement process supporting business operations. As a highly-motivated, and detail oriented contracts professional you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to draft, review, and approve agreements. This is a part-time contract position initially requiring 20 hours per week days per week; with flexible days and hours for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities
• Own the drafting, reviewing and distribution of customer software licensing agreements, NDAs, and other agreements as required to support sales team operations, including reviewing and responding to customer redlining
• Partner with Tiny’s sales and customer success teams to manage customer onboarding requirements; providing requested information, answering questionnaires, tracking contract deliverables etc
• Review contractor supplier agreements and terms of business; providing appropriate legal and contract advice to guide business decisions
• Work with sales, operations and engineering to advise on legal matters pertaining to contracts and managing contractual risk mitigation processes, including maintaining Tiny’s legal agreements and terms of service
• Follow and optimize the company procurement policies and processes; identify operational gaps and lead process improvements to increase timeliness and efficiency
• Interpret and advise on contractual matters to ensure positive business outcomes
Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience, J.D. would be highly regarded
• Demonstrated experience reviewing, revising and drafting commercial contracts and legal agreements across a broad range of customers, vendors, and service providers.
• Strong, proven knowledge of the contract lifecycle. Experience managing the contract lifecycle within SaaS or technology environments will be highly regarded
• Exposure to, or experience working within, global legal environments and the ability to interpret legislation
• Honed communication skills (both written and verbal), with strong stakeholder management skills
• Drive to deliver; you are someone who thrives while managing competing priorities and delivering to deadlines
• This is a remote first role and can be worked from anywhere in North America. As a global company some time-zone flexibility is required.
