IDG is seeking a Sales Account Manager to join our thriving US Revenue team! This role will support our outside sales reps to ensure our biggest and most strategic accounts have an extra level of dedicated focus from our team. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be working on digital and demand generation campaigns & custom programs for some of the top clients and agencies in the tech industry.

Responsibilities
• Campaign lifecycle management; working with wider sales team members during the RFP process – coordinating deliverables/avails checks across internal product stakeholders, completing quotes within required templates, and preparing proposal submissions pre-sale.
• Helps create the short and long term program Renewal & Retention strategy with your team lead.
Collaborating with internal team, along with external clients, to provide a superior level of customer services to IDG’s clients & agencies.
• Act as a point person with Account Coordinators to ensure campaign is ready for launch; scheduling/lead client campaign kickoff calls in addition to any performance check-in meetings during the campaign.
• Send reporting and campaign end report to proactively start the renewal process.
• Researching new contacts and relevant account updates for Sales team counterparts to discover net new opportunities.
• Interact extensively with clients & agencies to determine key marketing issues for all accounts.
• Become the day-to-day contact and build relationships with clients post-launch.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of sales support or account management experience, preferably within the tech/media industry
• A desire to pursue a career in sales
• Comfort interacting with people at all levels internally and externally; superior communication skills are essential to be successful in this role
• High-energy, resourceful, creative, and coachable
• Ability to build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and top-notch time management skills
• Experience using Salesforce.com is a bonus
