Overview
IDG Communications, Inc. seeks a bright and organized individual for a position in our Finance Department. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about digital media while interacting with employees at all levels.
The Billing Coordinator position requires a detail-oriented, customer focused individual with strong organizational, communication and follow-through skills. This position requires an individual who is possesses a high degree of flexibility and professionalism, and strong customer service.
Responsibilities
• Record monthly digital media revenue and billings
• Daily interaction with sales to reconcile and maintain revenue forecasts
• Input billing insertion orders, and contracts into finance system.
• Reconcile daily/monthly billings and sales database at month end
• Work with sales and credit to resolve any billing discrepancies
• Review of SOW and IO’s – interact w/Sales Management and Finance Management
• Determine taxability of products based on state matrix by revenue type
• Analyze monthly delivery reports
Qualifications
• Minimum 3-5 years of business experience
• Knowledge of Accounting preferred
• Must be organized, detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task
• Deadline oriented…..must be able to prioritize
• Strong analytical, communication and customer service skills
• Ability to use critical thinking in problem solving
• Strong Excel Skills
• Familiar with Microsoft GP/Dynad Accounting Software a plus, but not required
